I have fallen behind in sharing the nice awards that have been passed along to me.
First of all, this award from Sammie which means "proven this blog has sweetness."
I would like to pass this award along to the most sweetest gal in the whole world...
My Darling MJ!
Then I got this award from Niamh. She is putting up with a stupid pee-wee little brother just like I am.
“This award is presented to those dog bloggers out there who know the meaning of GREATNESS. Their blogs are consistently interesting, funny, or informative. Their KINDNESS is extended to others without expectation of it’s return, and their FRIENDSHIP inspires others to do EXTRAORDINARY things. These are the blogs you can’t wait to read everyday. In short, they are AWE-INSPIRING, full of wonder, and simply PAWsome!Pass this award on to 4 others who you feel exemplify a “Paw”some Blog, and leave a note saying why you think they deserve the Pawsome Award!”
I would like to pass this along to;
Miss Khyra -
Who is the original walkie movie doggie and has many great adventures in her yard and her mom totally rescues lots of orphan doggies.
Wally is just too cool for school and I can't believe what he has to put up with with those peppy sheppys he lives with. But he pulls it off with dignity.
I just can't get enough of his smoochie face.
Butchy and Snickers
Two Wire Fox Terriers who live with the evil seizure monster, but still have lots of fun.
Finally, I totally won Travis's Supa Saturday award. WOW! I am in awe of my large and supa sized self.
I haven't shown you any barn photos in a while. Needless to say, Master continues to work on it with the help of Rick and Jarrod. As you can see, the second floor is all framed in and a lot of the siding is up.
Momma was very brave and climbed the ladder to the second floor to photograph the rafters because they look so pretty.
Our barn has four gables which makes the roof line kind of complicated.
Almost a shame to put on a roof...
The Pee-Wee and I get distressed when Momma goes up the ladder. I tend to stand by the fence and howl and Pee-Wee just runs back and forth very fast. If you biggify you can see my large and sound shaping lips all puckered up for a good howl. Ow wooooo!
Gosh, even I look small from up there.
Last night one of Master's pals came over and played around in the dirt behind the barn with his little tractor. Just movin dirt from one place to another which I gather constitutes great fun for construction type guys.
Master is putting stuffs on the corners of the roof.
Whilst Jarrod and Rick have fun scrambling up and down up top. The heat has forced them to don their muscle shirts and Jarrod is wearing those knee length short pants that momma says used to be called peddle pushers, but now they are cool guy type fashion statements. Whatever.
Check out our plum tree. It has flowers!
Ha! You didn't think I would do a whole post without a nice shot of my Mango-ness, did you?
Mango Man! Oh yeah!

So on Saturday, I was very excited because my entire family came over for a cook-out, including my nephew, Misha. I was looking forward to some super bitey face action with the little dude, unfortunately, THIS happened.
Yes, friends, in just one short day it became totally way too hot! Heck, that thermometer is in the shade for pete's sake.
Subsequently, I was compelled to retreat to a shady spot and rest my large and heat vulnerable self prior to even ascending the stairs onto my observation deck where large amounts of foodables were being consumed.
Arriving on the deck, I managed to slip unobserved behind my sissy, Liz, to scout out the buffet table only to find that the greedy peoples had consumed everything with great haste.
Exhausted and disappointed, I implored Grandpa to share at least one bite with me, but he denied me even a tiny taste (usually Grandpa is a push over, but I knew all was lost when I saw Grandma sending him the evil eye sayin not to feed the poor Mango).
Meanwhile, Misha appeared to be living by different rules and was enjoying a fresh brewski. Misha lives in New Haven Connect the Dots where his dad (my borther-in-law, Nate) is getting something called a PhD at someplace called Yale. I am not sure what a PhD is (possibly Patting his Dog), but I know Yale is one of those universities places where Misha and his dad probably sneak off for Friday night keggers.
I didn't include this picture for any particular reason other than to show off my goober (this photo is for Nate, hee hee).
OK, so this is all kind of boring, right? Even if it was too hot for bitey face, surely three resourceful chaps such as Pee-Wee, Misha, and my large and deep thinking self could come up with some entertainments.
It was when Misha excused himself to unload some of that beer that I had my brainstorm! We can have a pee-pee party. That's like a totally cool guy thing that doesn't require any sudden movements.
Being a good host, I let Misha have the first honors.
After which, the midget and I both sniffed politely and then added our own.
Then it was my turn and I left a nice Mango sized puddle for the two little dogs to ponder (actually I kind of walked a little whilst peeing to spread things out).
Then on to vertical objects.
And the little guys in a pee-pee circle.
Well, I could go on and on, but you get the picture.
Eventually, we were out of juice and Misha assumed his doga position indicating that he was ready to go home.
Everybody left and I retired indoors where it was a bit cooler to recover from a somewhat exhausting and draining day.
I think Pee-Wee might have gotten too much sun! Dude looked a bit cracker dog.
The little guy was beat.
As was the Mango!
Overall, a very enjoyable day.
Mango Man! Oh yeah!

Some time ago, "we" got this nice award from a fellow retrieving doggie named, of all things, Dexter! He is the same age as me exactly. "We" were supposed to post the award when we got it, but Mango said since the award was obviously between us water dogs that I would have to wait for Dexter Day to post it. What a pain he is.
Here is about the award...
*As a dedication for those who love blogging activity and love to encourage friendships through blogging.
*To seek the reason why we all love blogging.
*Put the award in one post as soon as you receive it.
*Don’t forget to mention the person who gives you the award.
*Answer the Award’s question by writing the reason why you love blogging.
*Tag and distribute the Award to as many people as you like.
*Don’t forget to notify the Award receivers and put their links in your post.
I love blogging because:
I get to meet super cool doggies from everyplace.
Momma gets to learn about nice foodables and treats to give us from other doggies.I would like to pass this award on to;
As is typical here in Master Chew Sits, suddenly it's summer and just way too hot! Fortunately, Momma declared Dexter Day to also be the day of the grand opening of my swimming pool.
And this summer I was pleased to see that we had got a swimming pool upgrade to something a bit larger than last summer. Our new pool came with directions which included advise that we should avoid diving. Duh.
I couldn't wait to try it out. I have gone far too long without getting wet.
Of course the Relentlessly Huge Beastie had to dip his toes in as well leaving little room for me to enjoy myself.
I did manage to practice some of my strokes as you can see by clicking here.
Obviously, I was quite jazzed up. The Beastie, on the other hand quickly retreated to the shady part of the yard where he could produce copious amounts of slobber in peace.
He thought it was too hot for bitey face, but I said, "Oh no, bitey face is going to happen whether you like it or not!"
Pity the poor dinosaur sized creature who could only writhe futilely about when confronted with my dexterous dexterness.
A fierce face pinch. ARRRR!
And back into the pool. Ah! This is the life.

But the Dotty Old Hen is not all bad, because today she produced a brand new monkey stuffie!!! Which is all well and good as long as I am around to guard it.
But the minute I turn my back, the Pee-Wee Midget Hump Meister grabs it and actually humps the poor thing. Here he is getting in hump position. It's hard to catch him mid-hump.
He knows how much I hate having him mess around with my stuffies that way, so when he hears me coming he drops the poor monkey and takes off.
Are you OK monkey?
Then he's all like, "Oh Mango, can't we share? I promise not to hump the monkey."
And when that doesn't work, he changes tactics to, "Hand over the monkey now you gigantic freak!"
Sticks and stones, little dude, sticks and stones.
Come on, monkey, let's retire to the dog cave away from the midget hump machine.
Mango man! Oh yeah!

My friends Molly and Taffy gave me this nice award.
The rules are;
1. Post it on your blog and link to the doggie that gave it to you.
2. List 7 things you love.
3. List 7 blogs you love.
4. Email or comment on the blogs you love to let them know you've given them an award.
1. MacDonald's french fries (I get excited just thinking about them).
2. Sun baking.
3. Monkey stuffies. Alas, both of the monkeys depicted here were eventually decapitated by pee-wee. Sniff.
4. Interior decorating. I chose the colors for our living addition myself.
5. Chewies (this is an old photo when I was still allowed to chew inside - I think you can see why I have to take my chews outside now). Check it out! Cow trachea!
6. Meditating (which can be done in a seated position).
7. Smoochies! Pucker up!
Now I will tag 7 other doggies to play along
Who also lives in Master Chew Sits and is such a sweet gal.
A big, blond gal who has taught me some new dance moves.
Louie, Gus, and Callie
Martha and Bailey
Two fun loving hounds.
Noah and the girls
Poor old Noah, putting up with all those terrier gals!
Who lives with the Lacie Beast (poor little dude) and doesn't blog often enough.
Who has a big heart and always nice words to say even about her BFF Lacie (beast).
